OHA Napanee Raiders


General manager - Adam Bramburger

Adam is entering his fifth season with the Raiders management team and his fourth as general manager. He is responsible for scouting and recruiting programs, the day-to-day operation of the hockey club, and liaisoning with the public, the league, and the OHA.

Prior to joining the team, he served as convener of the Empire B Junior C Hockey League for four years and reported on the league for the Napanee Beaver and Picton Gazette newspapers for six seasons.

Adam has served on the OHA committees studying the Canadian Development Model, the franchise encroachment policy, and the proposed merger of Junior C and D levels of hockey and has consulted on the organization's best practices for media relations.

Head coach- Mike Hartwick

Mike joins the Raiders this season for his first year behind an Empire B bench. Previously, Mike has served as the head coach of the hockey and golf teams at Napanee District Secondary School, where he teaches.  He has also coached basketball, softball, golf, and football at the college and high school level. He also runs his own personal training business.

During his own playing career, the Napanee District Minor Hockey graduate played CIAU hockey with the UPEI Panthers, professional hockey in Germany, three yaers in the Ontario Hockey League with Hamilton, Guelph, Windsor, and Ottawa, and a year  of Junior A with the Wellington Dukes.


Mike lives in Napanee with his wife and two sons.

Assistant coach - Scott Slack

Scott is entering his third season on the Raiders coaching staff.  He was a defenceman on the original Napanee Raiders hockey club in 1989 and has vast coaching experience working with the Napanee District Minor Hockey Association and with the Raiders.

In 2012-2013, Scott served as interim head coach for the Raiders.  This year he will also be adding some management duties to his portfolio.

Scott currently lives in Napanee.

Assistant coach- Randy Holmes

Randy joins the Raiders for his first season behind the bench this year. Previously, he coached with the Napanee Novice Stars.

During his playing career, Randy was an original Napanee Raider and he scored 56 goals in a 30-game schedule for the Raiders.  He moved on to play two years with the Kingston Voyageurs before earning a scholarship and playing four years of NCAA Division  1 hockey with the Ohio State Buckeyes.  He had a seven-year professional hockey career in Madison, Waco, Kalamazoo, and Indianapolis before returning home and finishing his career in the EOSHL.

Randy now works in social work and lives in Napanee with his wife, son, and daughter.


Mike lives in Napanee with his wife and two sons.


Trainer - Kai Degen

Kai has served as the Raiders' trainer for 10 years.  He has more than 30 years of experience in training and holds a number of medical certifications.

Kai currently lives in Loyalist Township.
